The much-awaited Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, unveiled its trailer last evening, offering a compelling blend of romance, heartbreak, and vengeance. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film showcases a powerful emotional arc reminiscent of the filmmaker’s earlier work.
The trailer introduces Dhanush as an angry, volatile young man who falls deeply in love with Kriti Sanon. Their journey moves from carefree college romance to intimate moments spent wandering the streets together. However, their relationship takes a sharp turn when Kriti’s character decides to walk away and marry someone else, pushing the narrative into darker emotional territory.
In a refreshing reversal of typical storytelling, it is the heroine who spirals into self-destructive habits following the breakup, while Dhanush’s character rises against the odds to become an Air Force pilot. The contrast adds depth and intensity, placing the romance on the edge much like Rai’s acclaimed drama Raanjhanaa.
The film is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, with a screenplay by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. Musical maestro A.R. Rahman scores the soundtrack, while Tushar Kanti Ray handles cinematography and Hemal Kothari manages editing.
Tere Ishk Mein is set for a theatrical release on 28 November 2025.
