Thandel Requests Ticket Hike in AP, Steady Prices in Telangana

In recent times, it has become increasingly common for Telugu films to request additional ticket price hikes in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Following this trend, the makers of Thandel have applied for a ticket price hike in Andhra Pradesh ahead of the film’s theatrical release on February 7.

The production team has approached the Andhra Pradesh government, seeking an additional ₹50 increase in ticket prices. The application is currently under review, and a decision is expected soon regarding the revised pricing model for the film.

Interestingly, the makers have chosen not to seek a price hike in Telangana, keeping ticket prices capped at ₹295. This decision aligns with the Telangana government’s and High Court’s recent reluctance to approve such hikes. Additionally, the production team believes that maintaining reasonable ticket prices will encourage more audiences to visit theaters, ensuring a stable and profitable run.

With Thandel featuring Naga Chaitanya and generating strong buzz, the team is focused on strategic pricing to maximize footfall while ensuring a balanced approach in both states.
