Versatile hero Vikram never stops experimenting and he is known for his challenging roles. He is working with Pa Ranjith for an intense period drama film titled ‘Thangalaan’. Vikram and his makeovers need no introduction but he has completely transformed himself for this movie. The makers released a small behind-the-scenes video showcasing the efforts behind Vikram’s look in this movie.
They claim that the shooting is in full swing. We know that Vikram fractured a rib while filming for the film in May. But he is back on sets again and this shows the passion of the actor. Pa Ranjith who made films like ‘Kaala’, ‘Kabali’, ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ and others is directing this movie which is set in the 19th century. He is renowned for making movies about the backward sections of the community and he has focused on the lives of people in mines during the 19th century. It is Vikram’s 61st project and his last outing ‘PS – 2’ turned out to be a good hit in Tamil Nadu.
The making video showcases the effort of the entire team. The visuals look very raw and realistic. Chiyaan Vikram has gone through a terrific makeover and looked completely menacing. Starting from his dress to color complexion to hairstyle, everything was just stunning.
Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathi, Harikrishnan Anbudurai & Preeti Karan, Muthukumar and others play the main roles in this movie while KE Gnanavel Raja produced this movie under the Studio Green banner. Tamil Praba is the co-writer while Axhagiya Periyavan penned the dialogues. A Kishor Kumar is the director of photography while Selva RK is the editor. SS Murthi is the art director and the action is choreographed by Stunner Sam. ‘Thangalaan’ is going to have a pan-Indian release and the teaser is yet to come out.
