Call it Jagan effect, Opposition leader Chandrababu has cut down his lengthy speeches and has made his speeches short and straight. Earlier, when he was in power, Naidu was known for his lengthy speeches and hours of detailed meetings with officials. Post poll debacle, he has changed his functioning and is now said to be sticking to the point and is talking specific. TDP leaders are happy with the change in Naidu’s speeches and teleconferences aimed at improving party affairs.
Jagan’s speeches have a huge fan base and are instant hit with masses. Whereas Naidu’s speeches were dull and lack vigour and mostly targeted techies, employees. Taking queue from Jagan’s speeches, Naidu said to have decided to rediscover himself and change his speech style to attract masses. Media folks are also happy with this change in Chandrababu as they don’t need to spend lot of time at Naidu’s press conferences now.
Chandrababu is also spending a lot of time with party leaders these days and is focusing on strengthening the party at the grassroots. He is patiently listening to people and their problems unlike never before. TDP leaders are elated to see the huge change in Chandrababu after 2019 defeat. This is a welcome change in Naidu.
