Superstar Prabhas’ Sankranti release, The Raja Saab, arrived with significant buzz, but the film has struggled to find its footing at the box office. The festive advantage did not translate into strong numbers, leaving trade discussions subdued.
However, the spotlight has quietly shifted off-screen, with the film’s leading ladies stealing attention online through their festive looks. As Sankranti rolled in, the heroines shared photos that highlighted fashion, mood, and presence, drawing focus away from collections.
Malavika Mohanan, who plays Bhairavi, embraced a deep, classic aesthetic. Draped in a rich red saree, her look was intimate and dramatic without being overpowering. The gajra, minimal jewelry, and warm lighting created an old-world, almost devotional calm—a styling that doesn’t chase attention but inevitably commands it.
In contrast, Nidhhi Agerwal, seen as Bessy, opted for a breezy, light-hearted vibe. Her floral saree, soft pearls, and easy smile exuded festive candidness, creating moments that felt natural and effortless—no heavy styling, no forced poses, just warmth and ease.
Riddhi Kumar, playing Anitha, brought a more glamorous and confident energy. Draped in a flowing blue saree with statement earrings, she moved with poise and elegance, making her look striking and bold, standing out as one of the most memorable festive appearances from the cast.
The contrast is evident. While The Raja Saab continues to face challenges in theatres, its heroines are clearly soaring elsewhere. This Sankranti, the film may not have soared at the box office, but its leading ladies certainly did.
