The makers of director Maruthi’s much-anticipated magnum opus The RajaSaab, starring pan-Indian icon Prabhas, have confirmed that 95% of the film’s shoot is complete. Only three songs and minor patchwork remain before the production wraps up.
Speaking to IANS from the film’s massive set — a grand haunted mansion specially constructed for the project — producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad shared updates on the shoot. “We have three songs left to shoot and some minor patchwork. Otherwise, the film is almost done,” he said. Sparing no expense, the producer assured that the film is being crafted to world-class standards.
The RajaSaab will feature cutting-edge VFX, including 3D computer-generated imagery, aiming to elevate the visual storytelling experience. The film has already made headlines for being shot on the largest horror-fantasy set ever constructed in India — a towering, eerie mansion surrounded by an unsettling silence.
Director Maruthi had earlier stated during the teaser launch that his goal was to prove that “we can make a Walt Disney-level film in India too.”
The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast alongside Prabhas, including Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar — each contributing to the layers of mystery in the cursed mansion’s tale.
Produced by People Media Factory, The RajaSaab is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 5, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, promising a truly pan-Indian cinematic experience.
