The AP government’s decision for shifting the administration to the proposed near Vijayawada has come to a naught with 22 employees associations saying they won’t leave Hyderabad till the end of 10-year joint capital time period.
Employee friendly offers like extending retirement age and 43 per cent fitment last month seems to be having no effect in making these employees consent for the shift.
AP revenue employees’ association president Bopparaju Venkateshwarlu has stated that government should plan for an extension of the joint capital status of Hyderabad by five more years.
The employees have reportedly cited 371-D of the Presidential Order as a result of which their children will be treated as non-locals in AP . Also since TRS government has reportedly taken away the land sites given to them, they now want sites in CRDA area to re-settle in the new capital!
