Covid induced lockdown has indeed paralysed the film industry. Since then many films, film events and press meets were ground to halt.
In this regard, ‘Orey Bujjiga’ starring Raj Tarun, Heba Patel and Malavika Nair, marks the first pre-release event to be held after lockdown.
Director Vijaykumar Konda said, “Three years ago, I wanted to shoot a film that would be out and out entertainer where the whole family would enjoy. I told that to my friend Nandyala Ravi, who is a dialogue writer and soon it propelled us to write the story of ‘Orey Bujjiga’. Subsequently we narrated the story to Raj Tarun. He gave a nod immediately and with that producer Radhakrishna too agreed to bankroll the film.
“Due to the present situations, the release of the film was postponed. We are now releasing on ‘Aha’ platform. I hope everyone laughs and enjoys the movie”, Vijaykumar further added.
Hero Raj tharun said, “It was not expected that the movie prerelease events would occur under these circumstances. But I’m glad an event like this is happening for the movie I starred in”. He thanked the producer, dance master Shekhar and the entire team who worked with him.
Malavika and Heba too shared their happiness for appearing after seven months on the stage and assured everyone that they would love the movie
