Much before debuting as hero on silver screen, young lad Akhil Akkineni started tasting the victory and he has given a medicine of that winning to Telugu industry too. Under his captaincy, the proud cricket team of Telugu industry, Telugu Warriors have lifted the fifth edition cup of Celebrity Cricket League.
Finishing the tournament in style, Telugu Warriors defeated Kollywood’s Chennai Rhinos after batting first and then making it tough for opponents with fantastic bowling and energetic fielding. Though Victory Venkatesh is the captain of the team, Akhil happens to be the standing captain and he is elated for winning the cup.
Probably before his debut movie hits screens, he carved a niche for himself with this win and he became so popular among youths. After this fantastic cricket, undoubtedly his film’s chances will get doubled at box office.
“After five years !!!! Finally for my captain !!! I’m so thrilled to be sitting with him with the cup”, said Akhil, dedicating the win to all of Tollywood’s patron. Along with Akhil, other actors like Sai Dharam Tej, Tarun, Sushant, Chaitanya Krishna, Srikanth and Nikhil played quite well to become part of this stunning victory.
