The ruling party YSRC candidate Gurumurthy has taken a huge lead in the Tirupati by-election and he looks set to register a comprehensive victory.
Gurumurthy is leading by over 76,000 votes as TDP candidate Panabaka Lakshmi stands second on the list. BJP-Janasena candidate Ratna Prabha is trailing in third position.
There are still multiple rounds of counting left and we need to wait for a few more hours for a clearer trend to emerge. But as of now, YCP is heading towards a huge victory in the by-election.
