Tollywood is celebrating a cheerful Sunday as theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana come alive with moviegoers. Following a strong September marked by hits like Little Hearts, Mirai, Kishkindhapuri, and OG, the new month has kicked off on a highly positive note. Crowds are returning in force, and the industry is finally breathing easy.
OG continues to draw audiences even in its second week, now running to housefull shows in Andhra after ticket prices returned to normal. Strong word of mouth and steady collections have fueled its continued success.
Similarly, Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 is creating a buzz, with tickets selling out rapidly in many towns. Distributors are adding extra screenings to accommodate demand, anticipating big weekend earnings.
Interestingly, Mirai is also performing well despite approaching its OTT release and limited screen availability, selling over 13,000 tickets in just 24 hours—a rare achievement for a film in its late run. Little Hearts maintains steady support from young audiences in select theatres.
After months of slow business, theatre owners and distributors are delighted to see packed halls once again. The upbeat mood signals that Tollywood’s box office energy is back in full swing.
