After experiencing a dull phase until August due to the absence of major hits, Tollywood witnessed a strong resurgence in September and October. Films such as Little Hearts, Mirai, Kishkindhapuri, and OG rejuvenated the box office, followed by Kantara Chapter 1, Dude, and Baahubali: The Epic, which continued the momentum into October.
As the industry heads into the final stretch of 2025, November—typically considered an off-season month—will nevertheless see a series of notable releases. Rashmika Mandanna’s coming-of-age romantic drama The Girl Friend is set to headline the month, riding on the positive buzz generated by its impactful trailer. Releasing alongside it on November 7th is Sudheer Babu’s supernatural thriller Jatadhara, featuring Sonakshi Sinha in a key role.
The following week, Dulquer Salmaan returns with Kaantha, a period thriller expected to capitalize on his recent blockbuster success. Comedy star Allari Naresh aims for a strong comeback with 12A Railway Colony, which arrives on November 21st without major competition. Closing out the month is Ram’s much-anticipated Andhra King Taluka, a film themed around the emotional world of fan devotion.
With solid buzz surrounding each project and a relatively open box office window, these films are well positioned to extend Tollywood’s recent positive streak.
