However, Peddi faces stiff competition in the box office calendar. Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to a massive blockbuster, is hitting screens on March 19. Given the success of its first part, expectations for the sequel are even higher. On the same day, Yash’s Toxic is also releasing, with its glimpse already creating a frenzy among Gen Z audiences.

While promotional glimpses can generate initial excitement, the ultimate success depends on content resonating with the audience. In this context, Dhurandhar 2 presents a major challenge, and Toxic could also be a potential hurdle for Peddi to dominate the box office.

Though there is an eight-day gap between Peddi and the March 19 releases, it remains to be seen whether this interval will impact Peddi’s performance. Notably, Dhurandhar 2 will release in Telugu this time, unlike the first installment, which was exclusively in Hindi, adding to the competitive landscape for Ram Charan’s film.
