Tollywood Stars Gripped In Fear Of Election Defeat

Finally, the weeks long high drama surrounding the general elections has come to an end. Since the Assembly elections were long done and since it’s easy to guess which party will come out with flying colours in the just concluded Lok Sabha polls, there is hardly any excitement about the elections held in Telangana.

And, all the hype and hoopla is primarily centred on the AP election results. While the Telangana elections didn’t have a lot of cine glamour, many Tollywood stars tested their luck in AP. Pawan Kalyan is the frontrunner by contesting as Janasena’s CM candidate. Even several other stars were in the fray from other parties.

Coming to Pawan, he contested in constituencies. Political circles are abuzz that Pawan will snatch a thumping victory in Gajuwaka and that even a record margin seems to be a possibility. However, a victory in Bhimavaram seems to be a difficult dream for the Janasena chief.

On the other hand, Pawan’s brother and actor Nagababu contested Narasapuram MP constituency on behalf of Janasena. His chances seem to be bleak since his ticket was confirmed quite late and there was not much time for his campaign against a strong opponent.

And then, Roja is once again testing her luck as YSRCP’s MLA candidate. However, a strong anti-wave against her 5-year term as an MLA in Nagari seems to be acting against her big time despite the party having a solid image in Chittoor district.

And finally, there is Nandamuri Balakrishna, TDP’s Hindupur MLA. There has been a huge opposition to Balayya’s work from his constituency voters over the past 5 years. Adding to that, his rude behaviour during the election campaigns earned him more negativity. For now, all eyes will be on May 23rd, that’s when the results will be out to seal the fate of our film stars.
