1) 118: Kalyan Ram’s mystery thriller 118 is the only Telugu film that has succeeded post F2 in this year so far.
The film has been a profitable one for all of its investors except in the overseas circuit.
The film has another ten days to cash in on with literally no films to compete with until March 22.
2) Captain Marvel: The latest superhero film from Marvel Universe is a pretty basic film with predictable story. The film has opened well across India and had a decent first weekend.
3) Badla: The Pink duo did it again. Amitabh Bachan and Taapsee delivered yet another successful thriller drama that has gone from strength to strength in its opening weekend.
4) Viswasam: Ajith’s blockbuster failed to repeat its magic in the Telugu markets, but is slowly inching towards the safe zone thanks to the vacuum at the box office now.
5) Luka Chuppi: Bollywood business is booming while the Southern markets are struggling to keep the ticket counters busy. Last week’s release Luka Chuppi is declared a hit by the trade.
