Bidding adieu to 2014, 2015 has been arrived. It indicates that old is naturally replaced by new. And this is no different for Telugu Film Industry. Hence, it’s right time to take a look at the list of most eligible spinsters in Tollywood who might tie the knot in the New Year making way for Newcomers.
1. Anushka Shetty (33) Already Anushka’s aged-looks at several public events are raising false alarm over Yoga beauty’s beauty. 2013 ended Anushka on a bad note as her movie Varna tanked without a trace and disappointing critics. 2014 too is no different as her Lingaa received mixed reviews and her role didn’t get expected recognition. As of now, she has only two big releases Baahubali and Rudhramadevi in 2015. The 33-yr-old Kannadiga should think about marriage plans.
2. Shriya Saran (32) Shriya Saran might had seen peaks of her stardom by solely pairing up with the likes of Rajinikanth (Shivaji), Chiranjeevi (Tagore), Balakrishna (Chennakesava Reddy), Nagarjuna (Nenunnananu, Manam), Venkatesh (Subash Chandrabose, Gopala Gopala), Pawan Kalyan (Balu), Mahesh Babu (Arjun), Jr NTR (Na Alludu) and the list is so big. That phase is passe.
Now Shriya has very few offers that too not so significant. Although she played substantial role in Manam and it garnered critical acclaim, it didn’t overturn her fortune. She is now pinning all her hopes on Gopala Gopala where she will be seen as Venky’s wife. We hear that the movie mainly revolves around Pawan and Venky so Shriya’s presence would not be felt much. It’s right time for Shriya to walk down the aisle.
3. Trisha (32) Trisha has been in the show business over 12 years and she proved her mettle. In fact bot Trisha and Shriya made their debuts one and the same with Nee Manasu Naku Telusu. Now Trisha has handful of offers in her hand including Balayya’s next Lion. Recently, rumours were rife that the actress got hitched and planning to get married. However, she later denied them. If reports are to be believed she would be tying the knot in 2015.
4. Nayantara (30) Nayantara’s personal life dominated professional career. After love affair with co-star Simbhu and subsequently break-up, she admitted her relationship with choreographer-director Prabhu Deva. In fact, both planned to get married and she even announced that she would quit films post marriage. However, destiny has different plans for Nayan. Relationship with Prabhu hit rough weather compelling her to return to acting. 2015 would be apt for Nayan to enter wedlock.
5. Kajal Aggarwal (29) With her younger sister Nisha Aggarwal too tying the knot, all eyes are on Kajal. Since Kajal too didn’t have big offers in her hand like before, probably she would make arrangements for her marriage this year. Her last Telugu film was Govindud Andarivadele which had an average run at Box Office but her role went unrecognized. Even the likes of Ileana, Charmi, Samantha might be joining the list of heroines who would be tying the knot in 2015. Let’s wait and see.
