People Media Factory is one of the well-known production banners in recent times. They are bankrolling small and medium films which earned them a lot of good reputation. They have decided to go to the next level in recent times as they entered the big leagues by signing up stars like Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas. They are making a lot of films under their banner and 2022 has been a very successful year for them.
They are co-producers for ‘Karthikeya 2’ which was a pan-Indian hit and collected over 100 crores. The level of success was not estimated by anyone and they scored another blockbuster last year in the form of ‘Dhamaka’. This commercial entertainer grossed over 100 crores. These two films brought them a lot of profits and they aimed to reach greater heights in 2023.
But their plans turned upside down this year already. Their production ‘Rama Banam’ featuring Gopichand in the lead was a massive failure and the film ended up in huge losses. People Media Factory took another risk in the form of ‘Adipursh’. Looking at the hype, they spent 170 crores and bought the Telugu theatrical rights. While the opening day collections were amazing, the movie’s talk was highly disappointing.
The collections dipped drastically after Sunday in the Telugu states. There is no chance that the film will cross 100 crores share at the Telugu box office. It looks like People Media Factory is going to face a lot of losses due to Prabhas’ film. They are producing Prabhas’ film with Maruthi as well and we need to wait and see how it turns out.
