The pre-release buzz has been great for Rana Daggubati-starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Thanks to the blockbuster Baahubali and interesting trailer that showed Rana as powerful Jogendra, NRNM has opened very well all over.
The film starring Kajal Aggarwal as Radha, wife of Jogendra, has raked in 3.72 Crore share in Telugu states (Andhra, Ceded and Nizam). Including overseas and Rest of India, the total world-wide Day 1 collection is pegged at Rs 4.5 Crore share. The total world-wide gross is Rs 7.5 Crore. This is very good opening for Rana film (solo lead) i.e barring Baahubali films.
The film received decent reviews. While the film’s first half got great talk, climax was given thumbs down by many critics, audience. Since openings are strong and made on limited budget, producers are confident of the film’s success.
