Sudheer Babu pinned lot of hopes on Mosagallaku Mosagadu, which was marketed as the sequel to Swamy Rara.
In spite of interesting premise director Bose Nelluri chose to deal it in a commercial way that got mixed response from the audiences. Mosagallaku Mosagadu managed average reviews from the critics, but its box office performance so far has been disastrous.
Sudheer Babu suffered a disaster with his last outing Aadu Magadra Bujji. He took a brief break before signing up MM but this film failed to draw decent openings across the Telugu states.
Collections are so poor that this film is going to be terminated in a week from most of the big centers, including Hyderabad.
Ajith Kumar’s Yentha Vaadu Gaanie fared better among the new releases. Gautham Menon’s brand has surely helped the film to get decent openings across the multiplexes.
Ram Gopal Varma’s 365 Days is an outright failure as film lovers didn’t bother to pay a visit to the theatres. RGV has to do something exceptional to win back the trust of his loyal fans. Half baked attempts like 365 Days won’t help this maverick director to make a comeback.
