Trivikram’s Next Move: Venkatesh Film Before Bunny?

Share

Star director Trivikram Srinivas, who faced a setback with Guntur Kaaram in January 2024, has been in the news for his next big move. Initially, it was announced that he would join hands once again with Icon Star Allu Arjun for a massive pan-India film—marking their fourth collaboration after Julayi, S/O Satyamurthy, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

However, due to prolonged delays in pre-production, Allu Arjun recently greenlit another project with director Atlee. Reports suggest that Trivikram, respecting Bunny’s decision, advised him to complete Atlee’s film first, while he patiently waits. But considering Atlee’s project might take over a year and a half to complete, waiting might not be practical for Trivikram.

This has sparked speculation in film circles that Trivikram could revive an old, long-pending project with Victory Venkatesh. The duo had planned a film back in 2017, which never took off for undisclosed reasons. Their past collaborations—Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari—were major hits with Trivikram as the writer. Even Vasu, though a box office flop, has gained cult popularity over the years thanks to Trivikram’s dialogues.

With Venkatesh not having officially signed any film post Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, and only rumors floating about a possible role in the Chiranjeevi–Anil Ravipudi film, the timing seems right. Fans of both the actor and director are eager to see them work together again.

Whether Trivikram chooses to move ahead with the Venkatesh film or continues to wait for Bunny remains to be seen. Either way, all eyes are on his next move.
