The Bharat Bandh that was called by farmers received an astounding response from all quarters across the country. Even the twin Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana observed a strict Bandh today.
In Telangana, the ruling party TRS came out in support of farmers and participated in Rastha Roko, and other protest events.
TRS working president KTR took part in Rastha Roko at Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway, Shadnagar, Hyderabad.
Not only top-tier leaders, even TRS public representatives, cadre, and other booth-level leaders took part in protests.
Also, opposition party, Congress leaders participated in protests. They were joined by the leaders of the left parties, trade unions, and other independent unions.
Even TSRTC shut down operations earlier today and resumed services just a short time ago.
