The Telangana government has announced that it will integrate the Arogyasri scheme with the Aayushman Bharat being implemented by the Union government.
The State Department of Health has signed an MoU with the National Department of Health on the instructions of the CM KCR. CMO has announced this on its official social media platform.
The CMO said that the MoU was signed by the medical officers on the orders of the Chief Minister KCR.
As part of this, the state health department has finalized the modalities required for the implementation of the Aayushman Bharat scheme.
Accordingly, the Telangana government has decided to provide medical services in the state under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
