The film deals with the story of a gay couple, which is being dealt with by a mainstream movie for the first time in India. While the reviews are just average, the film is being lauded for its daring portrayal.
Popular LGBTQ rights activist and human rights campaigner from the USA, Peter Tatchell has tweeted about the movie and how it could win over older people. “A new #Bollywood rom-com featuring a gay romance is hoping to win over older people, following the decriminalisation of homosexuality. Hurrah!” tweeted Peter Tatchell.
Reacting on his tweet, Donald Trump replied “Great”, giving a direct endorsement to the movie we must say. In the wake of his upcoming Indian visit, Trump is making sure that he responds to everything related to India, but then the way he added his comment regarding a film that deals with gay rights is stunning.
Those who hate Trump, by the way, are also now starting to like him.
