In a dramatic turn of events, Vishal Mesharam, a notorious gangster turned drug peddler, was arrested by the Maharashtra Police while attending a screening of the much-talked-about film Pushpa 2. Mesharam, a known admirer of Allu Arjun’s character in the film, was apprehended during a late-night show at the Koradi Road Cinema Hall in Nagpur on Thursday midnight.

The arrest was the result of a meticulously planned operation by the police, who managed to trap the fugitive while he was engrossed in the film. Mesharam attempted to resist arrest, trying to break free from the officers, but was swiftly subdued by the police.

Vishal Mesharam, who has a long history of criminal activity, faces numerous charges. He is implicated in 27 offenses, including two murder cases. Furthermore, Mesharam was wanted in connection with a case involving the peddling of MD drugs, which was registered in February of this year at the Ajni police station. He had also been booked twice under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA).

This arrest has garnered significant attention, not only due to the high-profile nature of the case but also because it occurred in a public setting, adding an unexpected twist to the Pushpa 2 phenomenon.
