Director Teja, known for giving Tollywood some of its most memorable debuts with stars like Reema Sen, Kajal Aggarwal, Sada, Nithiin, Uday Kiran, and Aadhi Pinisetty, is all set to introduce another fresh face to the industry. This time, it’s Bharati Ghattamaneni — daughter of the late Ramesh Babu and niece of superstar Mahesh Babu.

According to sources, Bharati has already completed look tests and attended workshops to prepare for a beautifully crafted lover-girl role. The project has the blessings of both Mahesh Babu and Ramesh Babu’s families. Teja was reportedly keen on casting someone who embodies both traditional grace and charm, and Bharati’s viral Instagram dance to her uncle Mahesh Babu’s hit number Kurichi Madathapetti caught his attention, eventually landing her the role.

Interestingly, Bharati isn’t the only member of the Ghattamaneni family stepping into Tollywood. Mahesh Babu’s nephew, Jayakrishna Ghattamaneni, is also preparing for his debut with director Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming film. It’s quite rare for siblings to enter the industry simultaneously, making this moment especially exciting for the Mahesh Babu family. Mahesh, who has always supported his brother Ramesh Babu, is said to be fully backing the young talents as they embark on their journeys.

Meanwhile, Teja himself is working on a socio-fantasy thriller that marks the acting debut of his son, Amitov. The film’s shoot began on August 8, and Teja plans to bring freshness to the screen with a new pair and their onscreen romance at the heart of this fantasy adventure.
