The developments are fasting changing over the ‘Select Committees.’ The other day, Council Secretary has returned the file of ‘Select Committees’ and informed the oppositions that the committees can’t be initiated under rule 154. TDP MLCs have objected this and threatened to serve the Council Contempt notices.
On Thursday, Council Speaker Shariff Mohammed Ahmed expressed his anger on Council Secretary for returning the file instead of initiating the process. In his fresh order, Shariff directed council secretary to immediately appoint select committees and if delayed, there would be severe action and consequences.
Now the rest of the developments are going to be interesting. Will the secretary abide by the Speaker’s orders or will follow the instructions of the YSRCP government. Yesterday minister Pilli Subhash Chandrabose had claimed that the ‘Three Capitals’ and CRDA bill have got an automatic approval as the sessions have concluded about two weeks ago.
These happenings are clearly confusing the people of AP.
