Microblogging site Twitter had landed in another controversy by temporarily locking the Twitter account of Former Congress Party chief and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress party announced that the Twitter handle of Rahul Gandhi aka RaGa was suspended and a letter was also sent to Twitter to restore the account.
The official handle of Congress party said that, till the Twitter handle of Rahul Gandhi gets restored, he will be using other Social Media platforms to be connected with others.
“Until then, he will stay connected with you all through his other SM platforms & continue to raise his voice for our people & fight for their cause. Jai Hind!â€, the Congress party tweeted.
It is said that Twitter has suspended Rahul Gandhi’s account temporarily for sharing the picture of the kin of the Dalit girl. The Dalit girl was subjected to rape and murdered later.
Twitter had swung into action and removed the tweet and suspended Rahul Gandhi’s account based on the complaint of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
Rahul Gandhi has upped the game to target PM Modi and BJP party on the controversial issues and burning problems.
Talking about the account suspension, Congress party alleged that the account was suspended as per the directions of the BJP party.
