Say it remembering their elders or paying tributes by re-releasing their golden hits in the modern times, many star heroes who have family background are now remixing the yesteryear hits of their seniors. Recently romantic lad Naga Chaitanya and energetic Nara Rohith have resorted to similar stunts but unfortunately failed to woo audiences.
We might say that a couple of golden songs are wasted big time. In his recent release ‘Oka Laila Kosam’, Chaitu has took help of music director Anup Rubens to remix a hit song of legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The track that goes ‘Oka laila kosam’ from ANR’s “Ramudu Kaadu Krishnudu” was remixed, but fact is that it failed to rake in any attention. Modern cine lovers haven’t rejoiced listening to this fast-beat version.
Similary Nara Rohit has come up with ‘Enthavaralaina Vedanthulaina gaani’ song, a peppy number from NTR’s “Bhale Tammudu”, in his latest ‘Rowdy Fellow’. Other than the fact that it is NTR’s song, the song failed to woo in all aspects, whether music of Sunny MR or visualization. What say folks?
