Back in 2017, top composer Devi Sri Prasad has enthralled Telugu audiences with his Khaidi No 150 album, which is a feast not just for mega fans but for all the cinema lovers. Since then, he’s struggling to create another magical album that could stand in time.
Recent movies of DSP like Duvvada Jagannadham, Jai Lava Kusa, MCA, Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Maharshi have only a couple of songs in each album that clicked but did not last for a long time in the hearts and minds of audiences.
And now, he has two big chances to make a strong comeback. As he scores for Mahesh’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and #AA20, surely they are major goals for him.
Apart from an impressive background score, Devi has to make sure that the whole of the albums of these movies will be liked by music lovers big time. Otherwise, the talk that he’s not doing justice to the big remuneration he takes will come true. Even music lovers are expecting the DSP of olden times, where the whole of his album used to be a super-duper hit.
