Sources say that the filmmaker is considering Anushka Shetty to play Bangalore Nagarathnamma on-screen. With Anushka proving her mettle in films like Arundathee, Baahubali, Rudhramadevi and other heroine-centric films, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao feels that she can pull off the role with ease.
But, it remains to be seen whether she gives her nod or not. Some reports reveal that the makers will approach actress Samantha to play this role, if Anushka fails to accept the offer.
