Up Cm A Bit Of Happy And Concern With Best-performing Chief Minister Tag!

The monk-turned-politician, who established himself as a firebrand leader Yogi Adityanath is all set to face the general elections in the state.

The serving Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has been declared the best performing Chief Minister in the country by the participants of a survey.

Well this is good news for the BJP supporters and sympathisers. However, the point that is a big concern is the decline in his popularity.

Despite the recently conducted Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey announcing him as the best performing CM, he received only 19 percent of votes which was 25 percent last year.

As one more concern, Yogi Adityanath stood at 7th place in terms of the most popular Chief Ministers in their respective home states.

The newly elected Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin earned 42 percent of votes in the category and emerged as the popular CM in the home state.

Looking at Yogi Adityanath, he has been focusing on infrastructure and he also expressed his wish of starting a film City on the lines of Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

For the film City plans, he met a few personalities from the Bollywood to take their suggestions and inputs. The major work of the plans might have got implemented if the Covid would not hit the country.

Being protected as the Chief Minister candidate for one more time in the upcoming general elections, Yogi Adityanath will have to deal with two big issues coming to the poll percentage.

Brahmins, Yadavs and Muslims enjoy a good population in Uttar Pradesh and no wonder they are often dubbed as the deciding factor in the elections.

In the previous elections, Brahmins have voted for the BJP while the saffron party has managed to divide the votes of Yadavs for the Samajwadi party.

Having said that, the political parties like Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party are not leaving any stone unturned to woo the Brahmin voters. BJP should see that the don’t lose the vote bank.

The opposition parties are making statements that BJP is manipulating Brahmins and they will not make that happen by coming to power.

To shift the momentum towards them, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati had earlier announced plans to build a temple for Parasurama, a warrior sage.

We have to see how the BJP tackles the opposition parties and retains the vote bank.
