Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson of Apollo Hospitals CSR and a wellness advocate, has successfully completed the Sai Baba Vrat, a nine-week spiritual observance held on consecutive Thursdays. Starting on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima (July 10th) and concluding on September 4th, the vrat is a symbol of devotion, discipline, and healing.

For Upasana, these nine weeks were a period of inner peace and reflection. Speaking about her experience, she shared, “Observing the Sai Baba Vrat has been a journey of devotion, discipline, and healing. Baba has blessed me with more than I could have ever imagined, and I am forever grateful.”

To mark the completion of the vrat, a unique seva initiative was launched through Athamma’s Kitchen. Specially curated Sai Baba Vrat Kits were made available to devotees, with a commitment that for every kit sold, nine meals would be served to those in need. The initiative received an overwhelming response, with 105 kits sold. True to the promise, on the final day of the vrat, 945 meals—including traditional Pongal and Kesari—were prepared and distributed, cooked and served with devotion by Athamma’s Kitchen.

This initiative serves as a heartfelt expression of gratitude, blending faith, service, and community, while reflecting Sai Baba’s teachings of “Shraddha aur Saburi” (faith and patience).
