Uppena, starring debutantes Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty had wrapped up shoot a long while ago but Mythri Movie Makers persisted on giving the film a theatrical release despite receiving a couple of offers from OTT platforms.
The film is now gearing up to hit the silver screens this summer and a new teaser was unveiled today on the occasion of Sankranti.
The teaser suggests that Uppena is a stirring love drama with a twist towards the end of the tale.
Young pair, Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty are seen as lovers and their chemistry is very good. Especially Krithi looks really beautiful and is very expressive.
The visuals shown in the teaser are eye-pleasing and Devi Sri Prasad’s background score is fresh. The teaser is technically sound.
In the final shot of the teaser, Vaishnav Tej is seen with a few stabbings on his back as he lies motionless on the shore. This might be an indicative of the film’s plot.
Uppena is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Star director Sukumar penned the story.
