Of late, director Vamsi Paidipally has turned so close to Superstar Mahesh Babu they are not just going on family tours together, even their daughters became best friends and started an YouTube channel (Aadya and Sitara- A&S) together. ‘Maharshi’ has brought them super closer and it looks like the Superstar is seeking Vamsi’s advice regarding his other movies too.
Some reports are doing rounds that Vamsi is now poking his nose into upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvaru upon the insistence of Mahesh Babu. A little birdie revealed that recently before taking off to Kerala for the scheduled shoot, Mahesh made Vamsi watch the film in the Editing Suite, and the Maharshi director gave some pointers to Anil regarding few elevation scenes.
People close to Mahesh and Vamsi are saying that as Anil is handling a big superstar for the first time in his career (his previous films has the likes of Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Raviteja, Kalyan Ram and Sai Dharam Tej as heroes), Vamsi is helping to get the elevation scenes and other important aspects of heroism right.
Though sources close to Anil neither agreed nor condemned these reports, it looks like the director got a bit upset with Vamsi’s interference into the creative space. When directors get close to heroes, this is what happens most of the time.
