The Telugu Desam Party has a rich history and it has achieved rare feats that are impossible for other parties to repeat. The party can be seen in two ways, one is under the leadership of founder chief Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and the second one is under the leadership of Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
After Chandrababu Naidu took over the party, TDP had started to focus on maintaining good PR with prominent persons including the film industry. A section of members of the Tollywood film fraternity are fans and sympathizers of the Telugu Desam Party.
Veteran Filmmaker Raghavendra Rao, who showed the path of commercialism in the film industry is also a supporter of TDP and he had expressed the same at an event. Marking the occasion of 40 years of the party’s inception, an event was held to unveil a book.
Addressing the gathering, Raghavendra Rao said that he wants to see Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister one more time and he is waiting for his go. You just say start, we will work for the party, Mr. Rao said.
Recalling the days when he had served as the chairman of the Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel(SVBC), Raghavendra Rao said that, he is indebted to Chandrababu Naidu and he is ready to clear the debt.
