A senior producer is miffed with a piece of news that is doing rounds on various media outlets. To put an end to the news that is related to him, the ace producer called for a press meet and rubbished the reports. On the occasion, he urged everyone to not believe such news.
Veteran producer KS Rama Rao, who owns the Creative Commercials banner held a press meet at the Telugu Film Chamber office. Talking to the media, Mr. Rao rubbished teh news which says that he was forced to leave the Cultural Centre President post.
KS Rama Rao made it clear that he has not left the Vizag Film Nagar Cultural Centre President post and he is serving as the chief to date. Taking the name of a newspaper, he said that the news is circulated that is filled with false information.
Having said that KS Rama Rao maintained that unlike what is said in the fake news, no funds were misused and the funds that belong to the centre are very much safe and there is no need of worrying about the funds.
Giving more information, KS Rama Rao said that land was allocated for the Film Nagar Cultural Centre at Thotlakonda and all the arrangements were made to start the work. The work could not go further when a few Buddhists raised a few objections, he said.
With the Buddhists raising objections, we have requested for another land and a piece of land close to Ramanaidu Studio was allotted for the Cultural centre. But we are yet to get the land. A friend gave us land and the cultural centre was set up there. Without knowing all this, the paper mentioned that I was removed as the President, he said.
The ace producer also expressed his dissatisfaction with the newspapers and channels carrying out the news without cross-checking the facts. KS Rama Rao opined that it would be good if the outlets have asked for his answer on this before sharing the news.
