Fans were eagerly waiting for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif to settle into a dream home, but the latest news about their apartment rent has caught everyone by surprise. Instead of purchasing a property, the Bollywood power couple continues to live on rent in Juhu, and the numbers involved are raising eyebrows.
Recently, Vicky extended the lease on their luxurious sea-facing apartment in the prestigious Raj Mahal project. The spacious apartment spans over 2,700 sq. ft. and comes with three parking spots, offering all the glamour and luxury one would expect from a star couple. Though the couple tends to keep things low-key, their home exudes understated elegance.
However, the financials tell a different story. For the first two years, Vicky is paying a staggering Rs 17.01 lakh per month. From the third year onward, the rent increases to Rs 17.86 lakh. By the end of three years, the total rent would exceed Rs 6.2 crore. Additionally, there’s a hefty Rs 1.75 crore security deposit, along with stamp duty and registration charges.
While earlier rumors suggested that Katrina might be pregnant, which were later debunked, this latest real estate detail has sparked a fresh wave of curiosity. With such a large sum being paid on rent, fans are now wondering why the couple has not yet opted to buy their own home.
