Vijay Antony is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming political action thriller Badhrakali, directed by Aruvi fame Arun Prabhu. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 5th.
On the occasion of his birthday today, Vijay Antony extended heartfelt thanks to the Telugu audience for making his previous film Maargan a success. He also expressed strong confidence in the impact Badhrakali will create.
“I’ve been a huge admirer of Arun Prabhu’s work since I watched Aruvi four years ago. It remains one of my top three Tamil films of all time. I truly believe Badhrakali will elevate him to the next level,” Vijay shared.
The film is also being dubbed in Hindi, ensuring it reaches a pan-Indian audience. Praising Arun Prabhu as a “producer-friendly” filmmaker, Vijay highlighted his ability to maintain quality within the budget and run the production efficiently.
Vijay also acknowledged producer Ram’s continuous support: “He believed in me right from my debut film Nakili, and he’s backing Badhrakali just like he did for Maargan. I’m grateful for this ongoing association.”
With release nearing, the team plans to ramp up promotions and engage audiences with regular updates.
