He is very much impressed with Vijay’s performance that he congratulated him and also proposed to do a bilingual film with him shortly.
There were speculations about Vijay D being approached for a multi-starrer in which Simbu is playing one of the leads. However, Mani Ratnam wants to make a solo film with Vijay.According to the buzz, Mani is planning to rope in Vijay for the subject that he prepared for Ram Charan. Mega powerstar was more than willing to do a movie with Mani until Cheliyaa released.
