On the occasion of Vijay’s birthday, the makers unveiled the powerful first-look poster, officially announcing the film. VD14 marks the duo’s reunion after their successful collaboration on Taxiwala.
Set between the years 1854 and 1873, the poster hints at a gripping tale of a warrior. The image shows Vijay from behind, seated in deep meditation, evoking a sense of mystery and strength. True to Rahul Sankrityan’s style—known for his unique blend of horror and period storytelling—this film also promises to be in a fresh genre.
Vijay, who is currently in need of a box office comeback, has already committed to another period drama, Kingdom. While the outcome of Kingdom may influence public perception, the team behind VD14 is confident about delivering a strong and impactful film.
