Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Vijay Sai Reddy made a sensational statement today, revealing that he was humiliated by the coterie surrounding Jagan Mohan Reddy, which ultimately forced his exit from the party. He alleged that second-tier leaders within the party distanced him from Jagan, leading to his downfall in YSRCP.
Reddy did not hold back in criticizing Jagan either. “Jagan claimed that I lost my character due to political pressure and bowed down. But he must remember—I am a man of integrity, and I have never bowed to anyone. If Jagan does not remove the coterie around him, his political future will be extremely difficult,” he remarked.
Unsurprisingly, YSRCP leaders retaliated swiftly, dismissing his allegations. Kalyani Govardhan Reddy, a key party spokesperson from Nellore, hit back at Vijay Sai Reddy, questioning his credibility.
“Vijay Sai Reddy once claimed he was retiring from politics and focusing on agriculture, even swearing on Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala. But now, here he is, speaking about politics again. Does he have any credibility? It looks like he is part of Chandrababu Naidu’s diversion tactics. We are starting to wonder whether he is acting under Chandrababu’s instructions,” Kalyani Govardhan Reddy stated.
With this heated exchange, the political friction between Vijay Sai Reddy and YSRCP has intensified, adding another layer to the ongoing power struggles within Andhra Pradesh politics.
