
Young actor Vikranth, gearing up for his upcoming film Santhana Prapthirasthu, spoke exclusively to mananatelugu about his journey in the industry. He revealed that his first film resulted in a loss of nearly Rs 25 crore and earned him negative reviews for his performance.
Determined to prove his talent, Vikranth is now returning with Santhana Prapthirasthu, aiming to strengthen his career and show critics his acting capabilities. The film addresses the growing issue of infertility in today’s world. Vikranth described it as “an honest subject packed with entertainment” and emphasized that the movie is made with genuine intent to touch the audience’s hearts. He shared that after signing the film, many friends and relatives appreciated his choice of subject and shared their own experiences with infertility.
He also talked about the fun moments on set, mentioning entertaining interactions with co-stars Tarun Bhaskar, Vennela Kishore, and Abhinav Gomatam. Discussing the film’s prospects, Vikranth acknowledged that the initial openings might be modest for a small film, but he believes that word-of-mouth will fill theatres from the evening shows.
Santhana Prapthirasthu is directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, with Vikranth and Chandini Chowdhary playing the lead roles.
