After making his debut with Pedha Kapu, actor Virat Karrna is returning with a much bigger and ambitious project titled Nagabandham — a high-concept Pan-India action entertainer. The film is directed by Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy.
What truly sets Nagabandham apart is its massive world-building and spiritual depth. The makers have created elaborate, detailed sets across Hyderabad, bringing alive an ancient and mystical world inspired by India’s spiritual traditions.
Currently, the team is filming a powerful devotional song dedicated to Lord Shiva, titled Om Veera Naga, featuring Virat Karrna. The sequence is being shot inside a magnificently designed Shiva temple set built at Ramanaidu Studios.
The production design by Ashok Kumar adds visual grandeur, while music composers Abhe and Junaid Kumar have reportedly crafted one of the most powerful and soulful Shiva songs ever in Indian cinema. Sri Harsha penned the lyrics, and Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya is directing the dance sequences. The song’s shoot, scheduled during the sacred Karthika Masam, enhances its divine essence.
This devotional track is said to be a turning point in the film’s narrative, blending spirituality with breathtaking visuals and high emotion — offering audiences an experience unlike anything seen before on the big screen.
Set against the mystical backdrop of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, Nagabandham delves into long-forgotten traditions and sacred practices hidden deep within spiritual lore.
The film stars Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads, with Soundar Rajan S handling cinematography, ensuring a visual feast that matches the film’s epic scale.
