Dil Raju Clarifies on Aid for Pushpa 2 Stampede Survivor

It has been a year since the tragic stampede during the release of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, which claimed the life of Revathi and left her son, Sri Teja, critically injured. The child has been undergoing continuous rehabilitation ever since.
Earlier today, several social media posts and web portals circulated unverified reports claiming that Sri Teja’s father, Bhaskar, was struggling to meet medical expenses and that Allu Arjun had allegedly not responded to their request for further assistance.
Producer Bunny Vas, a close associate of Allu Arjun, promptly refuted these rumours, stating that the actor has been fully supporting the family from day one. Later in the day, producer Dil Raju — appointed by the Telangana government as a mediator between the family and Allu Arjun — also stepped in to clarify the facts.
Dil Raju met Bhaskar personally to assess Sri Teja’s current medical condition. He confirmed that Allu Arjun had provided ₹2 crore to the family immediately after the incident, which was placed in a fixed deposit in Sri Teja’s name, and had additionally borne ₹70 lakh worth of medical expenses for the child’s treatment. The monthly interest generated from the fixed deposit is being used to support both the ongoing medical needs of Sri Teja and the family’s living expenses.
Speaking to the media, Bhaskar said he had requested Allu Arjun and Allu Aravind — through Dil Raju — for additional financial support to extend Sri Teja’s rehabilitation for a few more months to aid faster recovery.
Dil Raju confirmed that Allu Arjun responded positively and agreed to provide the necessary funds to continue the child’s treatment for the next six months to a year, until Sri Teja makes a full recovery.
