Cricket is considered a gentleman’s game. But many argue that the game is slowly losing its image. There are strong reasons for the debate. Players are unable to control their emotions and sometimes they shout at umpires and sometimes break the stumps. One such unwanted scene happened recently.
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli who is known for his aggression had a heated argument with Gautam Gambhir. This caught everyone’s attention. Former players like Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag expressed their dissatisfaction over the incident and called for putting a full stop to such incidents.
Now the reports say that Virat Kohli reacted to the issue and sent his response to the Board of Control for Cricket in India and said that he did not say anything wrong and he is feeling bad about getting fined without doing anything. He is said to have written to the cricket body.
The media reports say that the Run Machine in his letter mentioned what happened during the match and also said that he is feeling disappointed for being fined total match fees. As per the media reports, the letter was sent to the Cricket governing body by Virat Kohli. However, there is no official confirmation on the letter.
The incident happened during the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) earlier this month. RCB player Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir had a heated argument. Virat Kohlki was imposed a fine of 100 match fees.
