Former CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana has intensified the protest against the Union government. He has already approached the court against the issue of privatization of the steel plant. He had earlier written letters to the Prime Minister.
He opined that it would not be advisable to privatize the Visakhapatnam steel plant on the pretext of losses. Some of the proposals also suggested that the loss-making steel plant should be made profitable other than being privatized.
However, no reply has been received from the Center so far. On the other hand, the Center is making rapid strides towards privatizing the steel plant. With this, he directly involved in the Vishakha steel plant movement against the Union govt decision.
The worker unions have already intensified the movement against the Center. Some workers have been on a relay hunger strike for about 50 days. They were also preparing for a strike soon.
Notices have already been given to the steel plant administration as well. There are chances of going on strike at any moment. Except for BJP and Janasena, all the other political parties are participating in the strike.
