For a long time, the shoot of the much-awaited film tentatively titled “Dragon”, starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, has been surrounded by speculation about delays and script changes. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and earlier reports suggested that the team had taken a short break between schedules as part of normal production planning.

However, recent rumours gained traction claiming that Jr NTR was reportedly disappointed after the release outcome of War 2, which allegedly led to discussions within the Dragon team about revisiting certain portions of the script. Some industry chatter even suggested that the actor, who is said to be playing a darker-shaded character in the film, expressed concerns about audience reception and requested changes to avoid any negative backlash.

Addressing these speculations, Mythri Movie Makers CEO Cherry has now provided clarity. Speaking during the promotions of their latest production Jetlee, he confirmed that the shooting of Dragon has resumed after necessary creative discussions. He added that the team, including the director and lead actor, mutually agreed to fine-tune certain aspects of the script following feedback and post-release learnings from other projects.

Cherry further assured that the film is progressing smoothly and will be released as planned, without any major concerns regarding its production timeline. With the changes now reportedly in place, Dragon continues to be one of the most anticipated collaborations in Indian cinema.
