It is a known fact that all the monarchs who had someone to write about them could grab some pages in the books of history.
Same applies even to the leaders in the democratic world. There should be some good writers around to document and spread the good activities done by them. Is Jagan Mohan Reddy lagging behind in this aspect when compared to the other leaders of his times?

Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power as per the people’s wish. Now the same people wish to know what exactly he is doing with his power. The opposition media is vehemently writing against him but from Jagan’s side there is no proper promotion at all.
There should be a combat system in journalism and the answers should be given instantly to the rants of opposition media. The reply can be either by pressmeet or by the write ups of the powerful journalists around, if any.
Strategists like Prashanth Kishore may be required before election. But some strategic journalism is required for five years without any excuse.
As the strength of the military is known by its artillery and ammunition, the power of a leader is measured by the journalists he has in his Court.
Apart from this, in this social media generation, there are a good number of netizens who are supporting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They did their part between 2014 – 2019 and faced several problems from the then TDP government. Eventually YCP came to power in 2019 but no due gratitude was shown to those social media warriors. In fact, they didn’t even expect anything in return from Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Patting the social media warriors and spending some personal time with them, maintaining the journalists at regional and national level and making sure of spreading every activity done to every corner of the state are the primary prerequisites of any successful politician.
People give power only once. But to make them give for the second time, one should project all his activities effectively. People have no time to search and know. Majority of people believe in what they receive as news.
Hope this will be an eye opener for Jagan Mohan Reddy and his government.
