Yash’s Toxic vs. Ram Charan’s RC16 – March 2026 Box Office Clash?
Kannada superstar Yash, known for his KGF franchise, is currently busy filming his upcoming action entertainer Toxic, directed by Geethu Mohandas. Mounted on a grand scale, Toxic is being shot in Kannada and English and is set for a pan-India release. The makers have officially announced that the film will hit theaters on March 19, 2026.
Meanwhile, Global Star Ram Charan is gearing up for his much-awaited project, tentatively titled Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film, which is said to have high-end VFX work, is currently in production. While the official release date is yet to be locked, the team is reportedly targeting a release around Charan’s birthday, which falls on March 27, 2026. This suggests that RC16 could arrive in the third or last week of March, bringing it dangerously close to Toxic’s release.
Adding to the competition, Nani’s much-anticipated The Paradise is also scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. With three big films eyeing a March release, an intense box office battle could be on the horizon. Moreover, since March coincides with exam season, it remains to be seen how these major releases will perform amidst student schedules. If all three films stick to their planned timelines, the month will witness one of the biggest clashes in Indian cinema.
