The Telangana government has officially launched the prestigious Gaddar Awards, introduced as a replacement for the Nandi Awards, to recognize excellence in cinema. At the inaugural ceremony, Allu Arjun was honored with the Best Actor Award for his stellar performance in Pushpa 2. The award was presented by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka.

The moment Allu Arjun shared the stage with CM Revanth Reddy turned into a memorable sight for fans. Upon receiving the award, Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude to the Telangana government for instituting the awards. He affectionately addressed the CM as “Anna” and delighted the audience by delivering one of his iconic dialogues from Pushpa 2 on stage.

In his speech, Allu Arjun thanked director Sukumar for entrusting him with the role and also credited director S.S. Rajamouli for encouraging their team to release Pushpa: The Rise (Part 1) in Hindi, which played a crucial role in the film’s phenomenal nationwide success.

“I dedicate this award to my fans,” Allu Arjun declared, acknowledging the unwavering support that has helped him reach such heights in his career. With the enthusiastic approval of CM Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Allu Arjun once again brought the crowd to life by reciting a popular dialogue from Pushpa 2.

Alongside Allu Arjun, actress Nivetha Thomas was awarded Best Actress for her impressive performance in the film 35.
